Phillip K. Haynie, CRNA, MSN, MBA

In 2001, Mr. Haynie co-founded and became president of Resource Anesthesia. This multi-state company provides central management and support by establishing local anesthesia teams who are active members of the community. Through these teams, we perform more than 35,000 anesthetics at community hospitals and surgery center.
Because of Resource Anesthesia’s unique centralized approach, Mr. Haynie collaborates daily with facility management to reach operational and policy decisions. This allows Resource Anesthesia to standardize where appropriate and leverage “best practices” for the facilities. Mr. Haynie also provides clinical care when there is an opening.
Mr. Haynie graduated from the U.S. Army/University of Texas Houston Health Science Center Program in Anesthesia Nursing. He also received his MBA from Auburn University. He has more than 11 years of clinical experience, including all types of anesthesiology practice from solo to large groups. He attended the Joint Trauma Training Center at Ben Taub General Hospital in Houston,Texas. He received the Sarah A. Haliburton Award for Excellence in Anesthesia Nursing and the Phantom Warrior Award for Excellence in Anesthesia Nursing. He is a member of the Medical Group Management Association and the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. He is also a Green Belt in Six Sigma™Quality Management.
